About us

North Aura was born from a simple idea: freedom should be for everyone. We wanted to make it easier to discover nature, create memories and enjoy life – without breaking the budget and at the same time taking the environment into consideration.

Our journey began long before North Aura became a reality. Years of exploration shaped our love of nature and the freedom to experience new places. When we became parents, the way we traveled changed. Long backpacking trips were replaced by car and train trips, but the longing for the simple and genuine remained. We looked for solutions that could give us the same feeling of closeness to nature – without compromising on either sustainability or economy.

That's when we discovered roof tents. A convenient, smart and more environmentally friendly way to travel and spend the night close to nature. The summer we bought our first tent was the start of something bigger. We realized that this was not just a solution for us, but something we wanted to share with more people.

But for us, tent life is more than just travel. It’s about being present, about enjoying the silence of nature, and about creating memories with the ones you love. It’s about the little moments that become the true richness of life – like waking up by the ocean, falling asleep under the stars, or feeling the freedom of just following your passion.
